With unemployment at 9.1%, abounding are axis to (and relying on) the government to advice them out with jobs. This is great! Except if the federal jobs server goes down, erasing the hopes of 70,000 people. Oops.
Federal Times letters the USAJobs.gov outage, amid August 9th and 12th, afflicted 54 authoritative agencies, who use the website to recruit. The Department of Health and Human Services chalked it up to "unscheduled maintenance," which sounds like government-ese for "we fucked up."
